Account deletion

Delete your Crime Crushing account

You can delete your Crime Crushing account and the data linked to it at any time. Choose one of the options below.

Option 1 : Delete in the app

  1. Open the Crime Crushing app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile > Settings > Delete account.
  3. Confirm that you want to delete your account.

Option 2: Request by email

If you no longer have the app, email us at support@crimecrushing.com from the email address linked to your account.

  • Subject : Delete my account
  • Include the name on your account so we can find it.

What we delete

  • Name and email address
  • Profile photo
  • Followed agencies
  • IXP points
  • Activity history

What we keep

  • Tips you’ve already sent. Tips are shared with the agency handling the case and become part of their records, so they can’t be deleted. Your personal details are removed from our copy.
  • Minimal security records, such as [sign-in logs], for up to 30 days to help prevent fraud and abuse. After that, they’re permanently deleted.
