On September 8, 2025 at approximately 8:10 p.m., La Ronge RCMP received a report of a robbery at a business in Hall Lake, SK. Investigation determined two males entered the business, threatened employees, and stole a sum of money and cigarettes. The two males left the business on foot. No physical injuries were reported to police. As a result of investigation, an adult male was arrested at a residence on Grace Roberts Crescent in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band community of Hall Lake. The other male, 43-year-old Gerry Roberts from the La Ronge detachment area is charged with one count, robbery, Section 344, Criminal Code and one count of fail to comply with a release order condition, Section 145(5)(a), Criminal Code. A warrant has been issued for Gerry Roberts’s arrest. La Ronge RCMP continue work to locate Gerry Roberts and ask members of the public to report sightings and information on his whereabouts. Gerry Roberts is described as: 6’1”, heavy build, brown eyes (glasses) and short black hair. He has a tattoo on his right forearm. If you see Gerry Roberts, do not approach him.
