Case Details

On Friday, July 24, 1992, Matthew Prescott Leach, 22, was last seen between 10:00 and 11:00 pm. walking west on Corunna Road after meeting with an ex-girlfriend at the Colonial Coney Island in the 2900 block of Corunna Road in Flint. Six days later, he was found by hunters in a wooded area near the intersection of M-21 and Reed Road in Shiawassee County. He was dressed in only underwear and his other clothes were never found.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a white shirt with a Camel’s “Joe Cool” logo, designer jeans, and black cowboy boots with silver-colored tips. The cause of death was ruled as a homicide due to multiple injuries.
