FAQ
Crime Crushing is a free tool built to help Law Enforcement Agencies and Crime Stoppers Programs communicate directly with members of the public. By giving exposure to criminal and missing person cases, members of the public will be better informed on what is going on in their community and able to share tips on active cases.

The company was founded by a currently serving Canadian police officer with 20 years of experience. After years of working with various social media platforms and organisations to keep the public informed he realised that there was a pressing need to allow cases to be shared out in a timely and effective manner. After working closely with Law Enforcement Agencies and Crime Stoppers Organisations the Crime Crushing platform was born.
Only law enforcement agencies and Crime Stoppers programs are allowed to post content on Crime Crushing. This ensures that the information is 100% reliable as it comes directly from the source. Each organisation goes through a vetting process to ensure they are a trusted partner before they are able to post on Crime Crushing.
Crime Crushing does not receive tips about the cases posted.

Crime Crushing is a platform built to give exposure to active cases, but directs users off of the platform to partner sites to submit tips. Users are prompted to submit tips directly to the Law Enforcement Agency and/or Crime Stoppers Organizations. These may include anonymous and non-anonymous phone numbers or links. Some high priority cases may also direct users to contact 911 directly with any information.
Reviewing the cases posted by Law Enforcement Agencies and Crime Stoppers Organisations on Crime Crushing will help to keep you informed on what is happening in your community. The information you receive directly from our partners will help you to keep an eye out in your community for any information that could lead to solving cases and finding missing persons.

Sharing cases to your community and social media helps to broaden the reach of important information and may lead to more cases being closed. We will also let you know when a case you have shared is solved. You can sign-up and follow your local Law Enforcement Agency or Crime Stoppers Program to be kept in the loop on new cases posted.
Each case has a “submit a tip” button that allows you to communicate with the Law Enforcement Agency or Crime Stoppers Program that posted the case. These may include anonymous and non-anonymous phone numbers or links to reporting online. Some high priority cases may also direct users to contact 911 directly with any information.
Investigator Experience Points (IXP) are earned by sharing cases and helping to make your community safer. Each case has a IXP value set by our partners based on the severity of the case. You can earn points by posting active cases to your social media, sharing out cases, inviting friends to join Crime Crushing and when a case you have shared is solved.
You can share cases without creating a Crime Crushing account, but you will not be notified when that case is solved. When you sign up for a Crime crushing account you are able to follow cases, receive updates on active cases and be notified when cases are solved.
We would love to hear your thoughts and comments about the platform. We are working to build a tool that works with you to help make communities safer. You can contact us at  with any thoughts or questions.
